Immerse the required portion of plaster cast in water for 2-3 seconds.

Strip off excess water between your fingers.

The plaster cast is then ready for molding or lining molds.

Depending on the thickness, allow it to dry and harden thoroughly before painting with, for example, acrylic or gouache paint.
